StyleStack: Your Style AI (“StyleStack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a personal wardrobe and styling application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, when it may be shared, how long it is kept, and the choices available to you.
By using StyleStack, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
When you create or use an account, we may collect:
your Firebase user identifier;
your name, email address, profile photo, or phone number, depending on the sign-in method you choose;
authentication and session information needed to keep you signed in; and
account creation and update timestamps.
Authentication is provided through Firebase Authentication. When you use Google Sign-In or another third-party sign-in method, that provider also processes information under its own privacy policy.
To personalize styling recommendations, we may collect information you provide during onboarding or in settings, including:
display name and date of birth;
gender identity or a “prefer not to say” selection;
height and body-type selection;
style preferences, shopping frequency, and styling goals;
city, time zone, notification preference, and reminder time; and
your feedback, selections, favorites, and other preference signals.
We use body-related information only to provide proportion and fit guidance. We do not use it to make medical assessments or to infer health conditions.
When you add or create content, we may collect:
wardrobe and clothing photos you take, select, or share with StyleStack;
item names, brands, categories, colors, sizes, seasons, formality, tags, descriptions, notes, favorites, purchase dates, prices, and currency;
AI-generated labels, visual tags, image fingerprints, thumbnails, and background-removed cutouts;
saved outfits, outfit reasoning, canvas arrangements, preview images, and style history;
wear logs, including the items you mark as worn and the date, time, or notes; and
any outfit-history images already submitted through a supported feature.
Your wardrobe images and style previews are stored in private cloud storage and are made available to the app through time-limited access links.
If you grant location permission, StyleStack may access your device’s precise location while the app is in use to determine your city. The coordinates are used transiently for this purpose; StyleStack stores the resulting city and time zone for weather-aware recommendations. You may deny or revoke location permission and continue using the app, although weather-aware recommendations may be less specific.
Gmail Closet Sync is optional and only runs after you choose to connect a Google account and grant the requested Gmail permission. When enabled, StyleStack may:
search eligible ecommerce delivery messages;
read the sender, subject, order identifier, relevant product text, and product image references needed to identify delivered fashion purchases; and
create wardrobe items from qualifying purchases.
StyleStack does not ask for or store your Gmail password. Email HTML and temporary downloaded image data are not intentionally retained after the import process. Product details, product images, the import source, and an external order identifier may be saved with the imported wardrobe item to prevent duplicates. Promotional, unrelated, and non-qualifying messages are intended to be ignored.
Google API information is used only to provide user-facing StyleStack features. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google Calendar connection is optional. If you connect it, StyleStack may access and store:
your connected Google account email;
an authorization credential that allows background calendar synchronization;
event identifiers, titles, descriptions, locations, start and end times, and all-day status; and
the last synchronization time and the StyleStack outfit linked to an event.
This information is used to show your events, create event-aware outfit recommendations, and send reminders you enable. You can disconnect Google Calendar in the app. Disconnecting revokes future access where available, removes the stored authorization credential, and removes imported Google Calendar events from StyleStack.
If you enable notifications, we may collect a Firebase Cloud Messaging device token and device platform. We use these to deliver morning outfit suggestions, event reminders, processing updates, and test notifications you request. We may also store in-app notification content, delivery deduplication identifiers, read status, and timestamps.
You can disable notifications in StyleStack or in your device settings.
StyleStack may process technical information such as request timestamps, response status, app version, platform, device and app identifiers, screen views, feature interactions, and limited diagnostic information needed to understand use, secure the service, and improve reliability. Google Analytics for Firebase provides product analytics and may automatically collect app instance, device, operating-system, language, approximate-location, session, and interaction information as described in Google's documentation. StyleStack does not send wardrobe photos, item names, stylist-chat text, email contents, phone numbers, or calendar-event text as custom analytics event parameters. We do not intentionally log passwords, authentication tokens, service keys, email bodies, or uploaded image contents.
The app uses device storage, preferences, and a local database to cache wardrobe information, remember settings and disclosures, support faster loading, and provide limited offline access. Local data may remain on your device until you sign out, clear app data, delete your account, or uninstall the app.
StyleStack may offer an optional Google AdMob rewarded advertisement after you use the daily free outfit refreshes or after you connect Google Calendar. You can decline the offer and keep using the app; connecting Calendar never depends on watching an advertisement. If you choose to view one, Google Mobile Ads may process advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, device and app information, ad interactions, and diagnostic information to request, deliver, measure, prevent fraud in, and personalize or limit ads as permitted by your settings, consent choices, and applicable law. StyleStack records whether the reward was earned so it can provide the promised bonus outfit refresh.
We use information to:
create, authenticate, maintain, and secure your account;
store, organize, search, and display your digital wardrobe;
remove image backgrounds, create optimized images, and generate item tags;
generate personalized daily, event-aware, and conversational styling recommendations;
avoid recently worn items and improve suggestions from your selections and wear history;
import eligible purchases and synchronize connected calendar events;
provide weather-aware comfort guidance using your stored city;
deliver notifications and in-app messages you request or enable;
offer optional rewarded advertisements and provide the disclosed in-app reward when earned;
save, edit, display, and share styles at your direction;
detect duplicate images, prevent abuse, manage service limits, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability;
respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests; and
comply with applicable law and enforce our rights.
StyleStack uses automated systems to analyze wardrobe images and generate clothing metadata, outfit combinations, and explanations. Depending on availability and configuration, relevant image content, wardrobe metadata, profile preferences, event context, city/weather context, or a stylist-chat message may be sent to AI service providers such as Groq or Google Gemini.
AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate. You can review and edit item details and choose whether to follow a recommendation. StyleStack does not use AI output for medical, employment, credit, insurance, legal, or other high-impact decisions.
We do not sell your personal information. Google AdMob may use advertising and device information to deliver or measure ads, including personalized ads where allowed by your consent choices, device settings, and applicable law.
We may disclose information in these circumstances:
We use providers that process information for us only as needed to operate StyleStack, including:
Google Firebase for authentication, push messaging, and app analytics;
Google AdMob for optional rewarded advertising, measurement, and ad-fraud prevention;
Supabase for database and private file storage;
backend hosting providers such as Render for application processing;
Groq and Google Gemini for AI-supported image and styling analysis;
OpenWeather for weather information based on city;
Google APIs for optional Gmail and Calendar connections; and
Pexels for optional style-inspiration search results.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. App-store privacy declarations include relevant data practices of integrated third-party software development kits and service providers.
If you use a system share sheet to share a style or image to Instagram, WhatsApp, or another app, the selected recipient or platform receives the content you choose to share. Their privacy practices then apply.
We may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or enforceable government requests; protect users, StyleStack, or the public; investigate fraud or security incidents; or enforce our terms and rights.
If StyleStack is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and this Privacy Policy.
Where a legal basis is required, we process information:
to perform our contract with you and provide the features you request;
with your consent, including for optional device permissions, Gmail, Calendar, and notifications;
for legitimate interests such as security, reliability, fraud prevention, and service improvement, where those interests do not override your rights; and
to comply with legal obligations.
You may withdraw consent for optional processing at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed lawfully.
We generally keep account and user-created content while your account is active or as needed to provide StyleStack. Specific information may be kept for a shorter period when it is temporary, such as email HTML and image bytes used during Gmail import.
When you delete individual content, disconnect an integration, or delete your account, StyleStack deletes the associated active records and owned private storage as described below. Limited information may remain temporarily in routine backups, security records, or service-provider logs until those records are rotated or deleted. We may retain information longer when required by law, needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce agreements.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
access or receive a copy of personal information;
correct inaccurate information;
delete information or your account;
object to or restrict certain processing;
withdraw consent;
revoke connected Google access;
opt out of notifications and device permissions; and
decline any rewarded-ad offer without losing Calendar access or other core app functionality; and
complain to an applicable data-protection authority.
You can edit many profile and wardrobe fields directly in the app. You can also contact us at rondevelops1904@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
You can permanently delete your account from:
Profile → Account → Delete account
After confirmation, StyleStack attempts to:
revoke connected Google Calendar access;
delete files stored under your private StyleStack storage area;
delete your profile and associated wardrobe items, outfits, wear history, calendar events, notifications, device tokens, and saved styles; and
delete your Firebase Authentication account and sign you out.
You may also request deletion by emailing rondevelops1904@gmail.com from the email associated with your account. Include “StyleStack account deletion” in the subject. Do not send passwords or authentication codes. We may request reasonable verification before deletion.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Information that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes may be kept only for the necessary period.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including authenticated API access, private cloud storage, user-scoped database queries, transport encryption where supported, and restricted server credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for keeping your device and sign-in credentials secure. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
StyleStack and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
StyleStack is not directed to children under 13. Users must satisfy the minimum age required to consent to online services in their country, or use the service only with authorization from a parent or legal guardian where permitted.
If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact rondevelops1904@gmail.com. We will investigate and delete the information when required.
StyleStack may display content or links from third parties. We do not control their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information:

We may update this Privacy Policy as StyleStack changes or as required by law. We will update the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or through another reasonable channel. Material changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise permitted by law.
