1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Résumé ("we", "our", "us").
Résumé is owned and operated by Stuff
Technologies ("Service Provider"). This
Privacy Policy explains how we collect,
use and protect your information when
you use the Résumé mobile application
and related services (collectively, the
"Application").

By using Résumé you agree to the
collection and use of information in
accordance with this policy.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the following information
when you download and use Résumé:

Automatically Collected Information:

• Your device's IP address

• Pages of the Application you visit,
  and the time and date of your visit

• Time spent using the Application

• The operating system on your mobile
  device

Personal Information (if provided):

• Email

• User ID

• Name

• Phone number

Content You Provide for AI Generation:

• Work experience, education, skills,
  and other career-related details you
  enter into the Application

• Any other information you choose to
  include for the purpose of generating
  your CV or cover letter

Cookies and Tracking Technologies:
The Application or its third-party SDKs
may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and
similar technologies to support
functionality, analytics, or service
delivery. Where required by applicable
law, we will obtain consent before using
non-essential tracking technologies.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the Résumé app

• Generate your CV and cover letter
  using artificial intelligence, as
  described in Section 6 below

• Send important information, required
  notices, and, where permitted by law,
  marketing communications

• Respond to your enquiries and support
  requests

4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information
to third parties.

Only aggregated, anonymized data is
periodically shared with external
services to help us improve the
Application.

We may otherwise disclose your
information:

• as required by law, such as to comply
  with a subpoena or similar legal
  process

• when we believe in good faith that
  disclosure is necessary to protect our
  rights, protect your safety or the
  safety of others, investigate fraud,
  or respond to a government request

• with trusted service providers who
  work on our behalf, do not have
  independent use of the information
  disclosed to them, and have agreed to
  adhere to the rules set out in this
  policy

5. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

We implement appropriate physical,
electronic and procedural safeguards to
protect the information we process and
maintain.

However, no method of transmission over
the internet is 100% secure, and we
cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. AI-GENERATED CONTENT AND THIRD PARTY SERVICES

Résumé uses artificial intelligence to
generate CVs and cover letters based on
the information you provide. To do this,
the career-related content you enter is
sent to Anthropic (the provider of the
Claude AI models) for processing in
order to generate your document.

Résumé also uses the following
third-party service:

• Google Analytics for Firebase — for
  app analytics

Each of these third parties has its own
Privacy Policy governing its use of your
information.

7. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

We, or our third-party service
providers, may transfer personal data to
countries outside your country of
residence, including outside the
European Economic Area (EEA). Where
applicable law requires safeguards for
international transfers, we rely on
mechanisms such as:

• Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
  approved by the European Commission

• Adequacy decisions or other legally
  recognized transfer mechanisms

• Your consent, where required and
  legally permitted

8. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal data based on its
necessity for the purposes described
above:

• User Provided Data: retained for the
  duration of your use of the
  Application plus 12 months thereafter,
  unless longer retention is required by
  law

• Automatically Collected Data: retained
  for up to 24 months from collection,
  unless longer retention is required
  for legal compliance

• Aggregated and Anonymized Data:
  retained indefinitely, as it no longer
  identifies you

• Data required for legal compliance:
  retained as long as required by
  applicable law

Some User Provided Data may be required
for the Application to function
properly.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Résumé is not intended for children
under 16 years of age, or such higher
age as required by applicable law. We
do not knowingly solicit data from
children or market the Application to
them.

We do not knowingly collect personally
identifiable information from children
under 16 in violation of applicable law.
If we discover that a child has provided
personal information, we will
immediately delete it from our servers.
If you are a parent or guardian and
believe your child has provided us with
personal information, please contact us
at ajoseemmanuelone@gmail.com so
appropriate action can be taken.

10. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we
  hold about you

• Request correction of inaccurate
  information

• Request deletion of your data

• Withdraw consent, where processing is
  based on consent

• Object to or request restriction of
  certain processing

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA):
you additionally have the right to know
what personal information is collected,
the right to delete personal
information, the right to opt out of
the sale or sharing of personal
information, and the right to
non-discrimination for exercising these
rights.

11. DATA DELETION

To request deletion of your account and
all associated data you can:

Uninstalling the Application will stop
further data collection from your
device, but does not automatically
delete information already transmitted
to us or to third parties. That data
will be deleted upon request, subject to
any legal obligation we may have to
retain it.

12. DATA BREACH NOTIFICATION

If a data breach occurs that affects
your personal data, we will notify you
in accordance with applicable legal
requirements, including, where required,
information about the nature of the
breach and the steps being taken to
address it.

13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from
time to time. We will notify you of
material changes by posting the updated
Privacy Policy with a new effective
date. Where required by law, we will
seek your consent to material changes
before they take effect.

Previous versions of this Privacy Policy
are available upon request by contacting

Continued use of Résumé after any
changes constitutes your acceptance of
the new Privacy Policy.
