Studyhow ("we", "our", or "us") provides a secure educational management and student portal platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Information: When parents, students, or administrators log in, we collect phone numbers or Google account details for secure authentication.
- Student & Parent Profile Data: Name, class, contact details, academic progress, and enrollment status.
- Camera and Photo Permissions: With your explicit permission, Studyhow accesses your camera and photo gallery solely to allow you to upload student profile photos and required admission documents (such as Aadhaar or identity cards). We do not access your photos or camera for any other purpose.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To manage student enrollments, attendance, and academic records.
- To verify parent/student identities during the admission flow.
- To maintain secure access to student dashboards.
3. Data Storage and Security
All user and student data is stored securely using Google Cloud Firestore infrastructure with strict authentication and role-based access security rules. Sensitive document images are encoded securely. We do not sell, rent, or trade user personal data to third parties.
4. Children’s Privacy
Studyhow is designed for schools, parents, and students. Data concerning students is handled strictly for educational and administrative records under the supervision of educational administrators and parents.
