Nice Metronome Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 29, 2026
studiocelot operates the Nice Metronome mobile application.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Nice Metronome, including information that may be processed by third-party advertising and privacy services integrated into the App.
1. Information We Collect Directly
Nice Metronome does not require account registration.
We do not directly require you to provide personal information such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Precise location
- Contacts
- Photos
- Payment information
- Account credentials
Your metronome settings, practice settings, presets, practice history, and related app preferences are primarily stored locally on your device.
studiocelot does not operate its own server for collecting or uploading this app data.
If you contact us by email, we may receive information that you voluntarily provide, such as your email address, message content, and any information you choose to include in your inquiry.
We use this information only as reasonably necessary to respond to your request or provide support.
2. Advertising and Third-Party Services
Nice Metronome uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display advertisements.
When advertisements are requested or displayed, Google and its advertising services may automatically collect and process certain information for purposes such as:
- Delivering advertisements
- Measuring advertising performance
- Preventing fraud and abuse
- Improving advertising and service performance
- Supporting advertising-related measurement and analytics
Depending on your device, region, privacy choices, and Google configuration, information processed by Google may include:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location
- Device or advertising identifiers, where permitted
- App interaction or usage information related to advertising
- Advertising interactions
- Diagnostic and performance information
This processing is performed by Google and applicable advertising providers according to their own privacy policies and applicable legal requirements.
studiocelot does not directly receive your contacts, photos, precise location, account credentials, or other directly identifying information from AdMob.
For more information about how Google handles information, please review Google's privacy and advertising policies.
3. Advertising Identifier
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may use device identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID, where permitted by your device settings, privacy choices, applicable law, and Google policies.
Android provides controls that may allow users to reset, delete, or otherwise restrict the use of the Advertising ID.
The availability and use of advertising identifiers may vary depending on your device, Android version, region, privacy settings, and applicable law.
4. Consent and Privacy Choices
Nice Metronome uses Google's User Messaging Platform, also known as UMP, to help manage privacy and consent choices where required.
Depending on your location and applicable privacy requirements, you may be shown a privacy or consent message before certain advertising-related data is used.
This may include users covered by privacy requirements applicable in regions such as:
- European Economic Area
- United Kingdom
- Switzerland
- Applicable United States states
Where required, the App requests advertisements only after the UMP system indicates that advertising requests are permitted.
When privacy options are available for your region, Nice Metronome may provide a way for you to review or change your privacy choices.
Available options may differ depending on your location and Google's consent configuration.
5. Personalized and Non-Personalized Advertising
Depending on your location, device settings, and privacy choices, advertisements may be personalized, non-personalized, limited, or otherwise restricted.
Personalized advertising may use information about interests or activity to select advertisements that may be more relevant to you.
Where consent is required and you do not consent to personalized advertising, Google may provide non-personalized, limited, or otherwise restricted advertisements where available and legally permitted.
The exact advertising behavior is determined by your privacy choices, applicable law, device configuration, and Google's advertising systems.
6. Local App Data
Nice Metronome is designed so that its core practice information remains stored locally on your device.
This may include:
- BPM and metronome configuration
- Time signature and rhythm settings
- Click sound and volume preferences
- Practice presets
- Practice configuration
- Practice history and statistics
- Theme and application settings
This local app data is not intentionally uploaded to servers operated by studiocelot.
Some local data may be included in Android backup, restore, or device transfer features depending on your Android version, device configuration, and Google account settings.
You can generally remove locally stored app data by clearing the App's storage through Android settings or by uninstalling the App.
Backup copies, if any, may be handled separately by Android or your Google account settings.
7. Internet Connection
The core metronome and practice features are designed to function without an internet connection.
An internet connection may be used by third-party services integrated into the App, including Google AdMob and Google UMP.
If an advertisement cannot be loaded because the device is offline, because of a network error, or because advertising is otherwise unavailable, the core metronome functionality remains available.
8. Data Sharing
studiocelot does not sell your personal information.
Advertising-related information may be processed by Google and applicable advertising providers as necessary to provide and operate advertising services, subject to their own privacy policies, terms, and applicable law.
If you voluntarily contact us or otherwise provide information directly to us, we may disclose that information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, a valid legal request, or legal process.
We do not otherwise operate a server for collecting or sharing your locally stored metronome settings, practice settings, presets, or practice history.
9. Data Security
Nice Metronome is designed so that its core settings and practice data remain on your device rather than being uploaded to servers operated by studiocelot.
Third-party services integrated into the App apply their own technical and organizational measures to information they process.
However, no method of electronic transmission, processing, or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Children's Privacy
Nice Metronome is a general-purpose metronome application and is not specifically designed or directed toward children.
studiocelot does not knowingly request users to provide names, email addresses, contact information, account credentials, or other directly identifying information through the App.
Advertising and privacy features are intended to be configured in accordance with applicable Google Play, Google AdMob, privacy, and legal requirements.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information directly to us, you may contact us using the information provided below.
11. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on your region, device, and applicable privacy requirements, you may be able to manage advertising and privacy preferences through:
- Privacy options provided within Nice Metronome
- Android advertising privacy settings
- Google account advertising settings
- Consent or privacy messages presented through Google UMP
The specific controls available to you may vary by country, region, device, Android version, and Google configuration.
12. Third-Party Privacy Policies
Google AdMob, the Google Mobile Ads SDK, and Google UMP are services provided by Google.
Information collected or processed through these services is governed by Google's own privacy policies, terms, and applicable privacy controls.
We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy and Google's information about how data is used in advertising products.
