Diet Cat Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 10, 2026
studio neogneog built Diet Cat as a mobile game. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the game.
Information We Collect
Diet Cat does not directly ask users to provide personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
In the initial version, Diet Cat does not provide account creation, sign-in, Google Play Games sign-in, or cloud save. Game progress and settings are stored locally on the user's device.
However, the game may use third-party services that collect certain information automatically to provide app functionality, advertising, purchases, analytics, crash reporting, and security. This may include device information, app activity, identifiers, diagnostics, purchase information, and advertising-related data.
Diet Cat does not currently access or collect precise location, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, phone, health, or fitness data. Diet and calorie terms in the game are game themes and do not represent collection of real health or fitness data.
Third-Party Services
Diet Cat currently uses the following third-party services:
Google Play Services
Google AdMob
Google User Messaging Platform
Google Play Billing
Unity In-App Purchasing
Firebase Analytics
Firebase Crashlytics
These services may collect and process information according to their own privacy policies.
Diet Cat currently uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform for advertising and consent management. Diet Cat also currently uses Firebase Analytics to understand app usage and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose and fix technical issues.
Diet Cat currently uses Unity In-App Purchasing to connect the game to Google Play Billing. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play, and Diet Cat does not directly collect or store payment card information. Unity In-App Purchasing may process purchase records, installation and device information, session identifiers, country, and related identifiers to provide, secure, report, or restore purchasing functionality according to Unity's applicable privacy terms.
Advertising
Diet Cat may display ads, including rewarded ads and interstitial ads.
Diet Cat uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to provide ads. This SDK may collect or share IP address, app launch and app/ad interaction information, diagnostic information, Android advertising ID, app set ID, and other device identifiers for ad serving, ad measurement, app and SDK diagnostics, and fraud prevention.
Advertising partners may use device identifiers or advertising identifiers to show, personalize where permitted, limit, and measure ads.
Diet Cat uses the Google User Messaging Platform to provide privacy and advertising consent choices where required. Where applicable, the app checks consent status before requesting ads and may provide a privacy options entry point.
In-App Purchases
Diet Cat offers in-app purchases through Google Play Billing. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play. We do not directly collect or store payment card information.
Purchase-related records or entitlement state may be used to grant items, restore purchases, prevent duplicate grants, or support purchase recovery.
Unity may process information associated with Unity In-App Purchasing under its Developer Data framework. Where consent or another lawful basis is required, the applicable consent choice or processing restriction is handled according to platform, regional, and service-provider requirements.
Analytics and Crash Reporting
Diet Cat currently uses Firebase Analytics to understand app usage and improve gameplay. Firebase Analytics may process app activity and device information according to Google's policies.
Diet Cat currently uses Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose technical issues and fix crashes. Firebase Crashlytics may process diagnostics, device information, and crash logs according to Google's policies.
Children's Privacy
Diet Cat is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Diet Cat is currently configured for a Google Play target-age posture of 13 to 15. Advertising and consent behavior may be adjusted based on applicable regional requirements and platform policies.
Data Retention and Deletion
Game progress and settings stored by Diet Cat are stored locally on the user's device. Users can delete local game data by clearing app data in device settings or uninstalling the app.
Diet Cat does not maintain a standalone user account database. Information handled by Google, Unity, and other third-party services is retained and deleted according to each service provider's policies and controls.
To request deletion of data associated with Diet Cat that is controlled by studio neogneog, email neogneog.1010@gmail.com with the subject [Diet Cat] Data deletion request. Include an email address where we can reply and a brief description of the data or app activity covered by the request. If the request concerns a purchase, include the relevant Google Play order ID only when needed. Do not send passwords or payment card information.
We will acknowledge the request and normally complete our review and response within 30 days. Where studio neogneog controls the requested data, we will delete or anonymize it unless it must be retained for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, purchase-restoration, or dispute-resolution purposes. Any retained data will be kept only until the applicable purpose or required retention period ends, and we will explain the result or any applicable retention in our response.
Data controlled by Google, Unity, or another third-party service provider may need to be deleted through that provider's tools or support process. We will identify the applicable provider when reasonably possible, but we cannot directly delete data controlled solely by that provider.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information related to the game. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
Third-party SDKs may transmit data using their own secure transport and processing systems according to their policies.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
