Studently Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 23, 2026
Studently is designed with a local-first approach to academic data. This Privacy Policy explains what information Studently stores, what information may be processed by third-party services, and how those services are used.
Studently does not currently require you to create a user account.
Your profile information, courses, topics, schedules, notes, materials, focus history, and saved study sessions are stored locally on your device.
This information is associated with the installation of Studently on that device and is not stored in a Studently-operated user account or cloud database.
When you use an AI-powered feature such as Study with AI, Studently sends the information necessary to generate the requested study experience to a third-party AI provider for processing.
Depending on the feature you use, this information may include:
the selected course or subject
the selected topic
your education level or grade
your selected country or region
syllabus or course-plan information you choose to provide
notes, materials, or other study context you explicitly choose to include
This information is transmitted only when an AI-powered feature requires it in order to generate a response.
AI-generated content may be processed remotely and is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable as a substitute for official academic instruction.
Studently uses Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve its features, reliability, and user experience.
Analytics events are designed not to contain the names or contents of your courses, topics, notes, materials, uploaded academic content, or other user-created study content.
Analytics may include non-sensitive information such as feature usage, navigation events, general app interactions, subscription status, session duration, and technical information about the app or device.
If you choose to block distracting apps during a Focus session, Studently uses Apple's FamilyControls and ManagedSettings frameworks.
Apps selected through Apple's system interface are represented to Studently using opaque system-generated tokens.
Studently cannot use these tokens to identify or read the names or contents of the specific apps you selected.
Purchases for Studently Pro are processed by Apple through the App Store.
Studently uses RevenueCat to determine subscription and entitlement status.
Studently does not directly receive or store your payment card information. Payment processing, billing, renewals, refunds, and Apple ID-related payment information are handled by Apple.
Studently may rely on third-party services to provide specific functionality, including:
Apple App Store and StoreKit
Apple FamilyControls and ManagedSettings
Firebase Analytics
RevenueCat
third-party AI processing services
These services may process limited information according to their own privacy policies and applicable terms.
Most academic and profile data created inside Studently is stored locally on your device.
Deleting Studently from your device removes the app's locally stored data associated with that installation, subject to normal iOS system behavior and backups managed by Apple.
Studently currently does not provide an in-app bulk export or complete local-data deletion tool.
Additional data-management controls may be introduced in future versions.
Studently is intended as an educational productivity and study tool.
Studently does not require users to create an account and does not intentionally request sensitive personal information from children.
Users who are subject to parental or guardian consent requirements should use Studently only with any consent required under the laws applicable to them.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Studently evolves or as new features and services are introduced.
When material changes are made, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
