International Student Guide: COVID 19
We hope you are well and managing these challenging times. As you know, all schools remain closed for the remainder of the School year. There are many questions about what happens after that date. We will continue to keep you updated on this as more information becomes available.
General information for International Students:
Please be advised that it is important to remain calm and informed during this difficult period

Other IMPORTANT International Students-related considerations
Helpful tips to avoid getting sick - Prevention measures include:
Wash your hands often with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Avoid close contact with people who are ill.
Stay home when you are ill.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then immediately throw the tissue in the garbage and clean your hands.
If you don’t have a tissue, sneeze or cough into your sleeve or arm.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a household cleaner.
Prior to travelling, check the Public Health Agency of Canada – Travel Advice and Advisories website (https://travel.gc.ca/travelling/advisories) for up-to-date travel information.
Tuition Renewal Deadline for September 2020:
Due date has been extended to May 31, 2020
Study Permits and Visa renewals:
Remember to double-check your expiry dates for your passport, study permit, and visa and plan accordingly to allow enough time to renew necessary documents
Processing times from Immigration Canada will vary but allow about 5-6 weeks for study permit applications made within Canada, and about 30 days for visa applications within Canada
