When you use our app to manage your classroom, you'll be entering:

• Student basics: Names, roll numbers, birthdates, and contact info

• Family details: Parent names, phone numbers, and addresses

• Academic records: Grades, test scores, homework assignments, and school year info

• Photos: Those adorable student profile pictures

• School information: Your school's name, address, logo, and administrative details

Every single piece of this information lives only on your phone. We can't access it, we don't upload it, and we never share it with anyone.

The Anonymous Technical Stuff (No Personal Info)

Here's what happens automatically to help us improve the app:

Google Analytics Data (Anonymous Only):

• How often different features are used (like "The PDF report feature is popular!")

• Which parts of the app crash or cause problems (so we can fix them)

• General usage patterns (but never WHO is using it)

• Device type and Android version (helps ensure compatibility)

• IMPORTANT: No names, no student info, no personal data - just anonymous statistics

AdMob Advertising Data (Generic Only):

• Your general region (like "somewhere in Texas" - not your address)

• Basic device info to show appropriate ads

• Which types of ads work better (educational vs general)

• Anonymous advertising ID (a random number, not connected to you personally)

• IMPORTANT: No access to your student data, photos, or personal information

IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION: Neither Google Analytics nor AdMob can access, view, or receive any of your student data, school information, or personal details. They work completely separately from your local data storage.

Your Rights and Controls (You're in Complete Charge!) ⚡

Student Data Controls (100% Yours)

• Complete ownership: All student data belongs entirely to you

• Full access: View, edit, or delete any information anytime

• Local export: Create backups that stay on your device

• Total deletion: Wipe everything clean whenever you want

• No external access: We literally cannot access your student data

• Transfer control: Move data between devices using local backups only

Analytics & Advertising Controls

Turn off Google Analytics:

1. Go to App Settings → Privacy

2. Toggle off "Help improve the app"

3. Done! (Anonymous usage data stops being collected)

Limit Ads Tracking:

1. Android Settings → Google → Ads

2. Enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization"

3. Reset your advertising ID anytime

Protecting Kids' Privacy (Our Top Priority) 👶

We take student privacy incredibly seriously:

• Educators only: Students never interact with the app directly

• COPPA compliant: Exceeds all children's privacy law requirements

• Local-only storage: Student info never leaves the educator's device

• No cloud profiles: We don't create any online profiles or accounts

• No external sharing: Zero student data goes to third parties

• Parent rights: Parents can request to see their child's information (stored on your device)

Data Sharing (Spoiler Alert: We Don't) 🚫

Legal exceptions: Even under court orders, we can only provide what we have access to - which is anonymous usage data only. Your student data stays on your device where even we can't reach it.

Ad Content and Safety 🛡️

We work hard to keep ads appropriate:

• Family-friendly content: No adult or inappropriate material

• Educational focus: Preference for teaching supplies, educational tools, books

• Teacher-relevant: Classroom resources, educational technology

• Block inappropriate ads: Report any problematic content and we'll ban it

• No student targeting: Ads aren't based on student information (we don't have access to it)

Data Breaches (Highly Unlikely Scenario) 🚨

Student Data: Since all student information stays on YOUR device, it's protected by your device security. We can't have a breach of data we never receive.

Analytics Data: If Google's systems were compromised:

1. Your student data would be safe: It never goes to Google

2. Limited exposure: Only anonymous usage statistics at risk

3. Immediate notification: We'd inform you within 24 hours

4. Full transparency: Complete explanation of any issues

5. Enhanced protection: Immediate security improvements

International Data (Simple Answer) 🌍

Student data: Stays on your local device - no international transfers ever Anonymous analytics: May be processed by Google globally (but contains no personal information) Your choice: Opt out of analytics anytime if this concerns you

Changes to This Policy 📝

When we update this policy:

• Clear notification: Email and in-app notice with plain English explanation

• 30-day notice: Time to review before changes take effect

• Your choice: Continue using = you accept changes, or export your local data and switch apps

• No retroactive changes: New policies don't affect data already on your device

We're educators and parents too. We built Student Profile Manager with one core principle: your student data is YOURS and yours alone. We literally designed the app so that we cannot access your information, even if we wanted to (which we don't).

When we say "privacy by design," we mean it. Every feature was built to keep your data local. We make money from ads, not from your data. Your trust means more to us than any potential revenue from data sharing (which we don't do anyway).

We know other apps promise privacy but then have complex data sharing agreements. We took a different approach: we simply don't collect the data in the first place. Your device is your vault, and you hold the only key.
