Our annual Crawfish Boil is back! The Graduate Student Organization and Student Government Association are pairing up for this month's TGIT! 

Join us April 13th at 5:30 pm in out next to Old Red and Jamail Student Center. 

Crawfish, corn, and potatoes, are available first-come, first-serve. We will also have a limited number of vegetarian plates. 

Food is free to all UTMB students, just present your UTMB ID.

Celebrate the UTMB Student Community with SNMA and SGA. There will be Food, music, and Games at the lawn in front of Old Red from 5PM to 7PM.

The Office of Student Life and UTMB SGA collected and delivered over 250 toys for 97 children across Galveston County to enjoy this holiday season.

We would like thank everyone that participated and give a special thanks to the Child Advocacy Center of Galveston County for continually allowing us to work with them on this project each year.

If you have not experienced the magic of the Moody Gardens light show, Holiday in the Gardens: Festival of Lights we encourage you to grab a ticket, grab a friend, and enjoy the lights.

For UTMB students registering through the Office of Student Life, tickets will be $10.00! There is a limit of 2 tickets per student. This can be paid by cash, card, or check in the Office of Student Life when you pick up your ticket(s).

Feeling like a gift or two would serve you well around the holidays? Well, join us for Holiday BINGO!

The party kicks off on November 30, 2022 at 6:00pm. No registration is needed! There will be a Holiday Photo Booth, and Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest, and Food while supplies last! Prizes were graciously provided by our awesome community vendors!

The Picnic Basket is a partnership with the Galveston County Food Bank to provide free food for students in need.

The creation of The Picnic Basket was made possible with funding assistance from the President’s Cabinet Award and food contributions from locals and donations from Galveston County Food Bank.

It's better known as MAR10 Day! Join us on March 10th from 5:00PM-7:00PM in the HEC and play in the Mario Kart Tournament on the big screen or relax with some free play!

Feel free to bring your own Nintendo Switch and play with friends online as well. Each registered racing attendee will receive a Mario themed t-shirt on the day of the event. If you are not competing, you can purchase a shirt from the registration site.

Over One Million Lights are lit on the Moody Gardens Property. Follow the mile long trail of lighted scenes that are backed by the view of the glistening Galveston Bay.

The Student Government Association is excited to announce that the sign up for the 2021 Holiday Toy Drive is live! SGA and the UTMB Office of Student Life are collecting wrapped gifts for the child advocacy center of Galveston county.

The process is simple!

1. Click on this link → REMOVED or scan the QR code in the post.

2. Adopt a child from the list provided at and get them a gift. No gun shaped objects including Nerf style guns. Please avoid anything that releases a projectile.

3. Wrap your gifts and bring them to Student Life Jamail 2.110.

Every year we host a Student Organization Fair to introduce our students to the various organizations on campus! This year, we are going virtual. Join us on Microsoft Teams on September 15th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm to learn about all the ways you can get involved!

On the day of the event, you can browse the organization channels and join the meetings to learn more about each org.
