I have a question. Hi! I completed my Masters program in the US, as well as my OPT and started an Associates Program in a different school. I was told by my international student advisor that there would be no OPT after completion of Associate program . How true is that ? Also, I would like to change school and register for a certification program that could last for a year. Is that advisable?

There are some conflicting opinions on this. In general, the guidance is that you need to enter US within 5 months from the date of your stamping or your recent visit to US when you have got F1 status. In one other case, one of the students went to US, but could not enroll and came back, he used the same visa to re-enter, but had updated I20. Rules keep changing and I highly recommend, you write to DSO to get clarity, second to the CBP Office regarding visa requirements and to the US embassy to verify the same. It is kind of risky to assume. You need confirmation in written form so that you can carry the same to port of entry to be safe. Do let us know, once you do this and update us for everyone benefit.

Greeting! Hi I am Shankari Seethalakshmi Mohanakrishnan currently a student of Illinois Institute of Technology. I attended my visa stamping for F1 visa on August 4th 2016 and cleared it but due to unforeseen reasons i was not able to make it up to USA and deferred my admission. I got a new I20 for the spring 2017 semester with a different SEVIS to the one I got for Fall 2016 (previous one). But due to lack of technical knowledge on SEVIS i just entered USA although my SEVIS in the new I20 and my Visa stamping in the I20 was different. Now my SEVIS fee is transferred from old SEVIS ID to the new SEVIS ID. I want to know will there be a problem in the following things and what should i do to resolve these problems.

I was dismissed from a college however I have a 5 year student visa. If i get re-admission and get a new i-20 do I still have to apply for a new visa stamp? My stamp is still active for another 2 years.

I had 75-76 back in grade 10 in my Science subject. While ngayong grade 11, nagkaroon ako ng 75 ng first semester sa General Mathematics ko(I'm a HUMSS student). Let me add our students studying in specialties of actor and producer have prepared approximately 40-50 spectacles during year of each teaching and they present. Azerbaijan paid special attention to the sphere of culture and art. Festival of international theatre held in Baku in 2010 demonstrated our achievements in this area in the bright picture once again. It logical result of politics in culture area of our state. As it`s known, the profession of a producer organizes important area of the theatre education.
