We are a "compact" team within the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) and Johns Hopkins University consisting of staff astronomers and scientists, postdocs, grad students, and even high-school students working together on transient astronomy. Our team meets weekly, pools resources and expertise, and collaborates on research projects. We focus on supernovae, extreme transients, and tidal disruption events (TDEs).
