Overview
Strutcase is a personal plank timing and session record application. It lets you start a timer, save a session with details such as hold type, difficulty, body feel, date, and optional notes, review history, view statistics, adjust settings, open this policy in a WebView, and make voluntary Google Play contribution purchases.
Information We Collect
The app stores user-entered session information locally on your device, including session date, duration, hold type, difficulty, body feel, and optional notes. The app also stores local settings such as dark mode, time format, and haptic feedback preferences. These records are stored through local app storage using Hive.
Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
The inspected source code does not include account registration, authentication, cloud sync, analytics SDKs, ads SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, location access, camera access, microphone access, contacts access, photos access, or notification permission handling.
How We Use Information
Locally stored information is used to show your saved sessions, calculate statistics, display history and details, preserve settings, and support the app experience on your device.
Data Sharing
The app source does not share your locally saved session records with the developer or with a cloud service. Google Play Billing is used for voluntary contribution purchases, and Google may process purchase-related information according to Google Play policies.
Third-Party Services
Strutcase uses Google Play Billing for in-app contribution purchases. The app also uses a WebView with internet permission to display the privacy policy page hosted at the policy URL. No analytics, advertising, or account-service SDK was found in the inspected source code.
Data Storage and Security
Session records and settings are stored locally on your device. The inspected source code does not implement custom encryption or cloud backup. Device-level protections, operating system storage controls, and your own backup settings may affect how local app data is protected.
Data Retention and Deletion
Saved sessions remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. The app includes controls to delete individual sessions and to delete all session data. You can also remove app data through your device settings or by uninstalling the app.
Children’s Privacy
Strutcase is not designed to collect personal information from children. The inspected source code does not include account creation, social features, ads, analytics, or child-directed data collection.
User Choices
You can choose what session notes to enter, whether to save a completed hold, whether to delete stored sessions, whether to enable dark mode, whether to change the time display format, whether to enable haptic feedback, and whether to make a voluntary contribution purchase.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when the app changes. The effective date will be updated when a new version of the policy is published.
