The INdAM Workshop StructApp 2026 – Structure-preserving approximation of evolutive problems aims to bring together researchers involved in the development, analysis, and application of numerical methods for evolutive problems, with a particular emphasis on structure-preserving numerical approaches, in the spirit of the so-called Geometric Numerical Integration.
The topics addressed by the invited talks include deterministic and stochastic Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations, covering a broad range of methodological aspects such as non-standard time integration techniques, model order reduction, connections with differential geometry, and scientific machine learning.
A further goal of the workshop is to foster the interaction among participants, encouraging the exchange of ideas and perspectives in order to develop a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of structure preservation in practice.
