Strings and Geometry 2020 - Cancelled

It is with great reluctance that we have decided to cancel Strings and Geometry 2020 at Utrecht University. With the on-going coronavirus crisis, we are unable to find a realistic scenario in which both the conference can proceed successfully and the safety of our participants is guaranteed. We have had a number of cancellations of our speakers and participants due to the steady stream of international travel bans being enforced and this is only expected to increase over time. Furthermore, the number of reported cases in the Netherlands is growing quickly. We very much regret to cancel the conference, but hope to welcome you in Utrecht in the future. All registration fees will be reimbursed.

We plan to host the conference in Utrecht in 2021 and look forward to welcoming you then.

We would like to draw your attention to the Strings, Cosmology and Gravity Student Conference (SCGSC) which is being held at the University of Amsterdam the week before Strings and Geometry 2020 (22. April - 24. April).

Conference fee and dinner costs:

The conference fee is 50 Euros. The costs for the conference dinner is 50 Euros per person. This also holds for additional guests joining conference participants. The conference fee and dinner have to be paid via credit card with the online registration. Please contact us in case you experience any problems with the registration or payment.
