Data Sources

Data Sources

At Street Spot, we are committed to providing real-time information and accurate data for our users. To achieve this, we leverage publicly available datasets from various government sources and partners. Below is a list of the primary data sources that power our app:

New York State 511 Traffic Cameras

We also utilize traffic camera feeds from New York State through their 511 traffic system, helping us monitor parking availability across the state.

City of Austin Open Data

We use traffic camera data from the City of Austin, Texas, accessed through the City’s official open data portal. This data includes camera locations, statuses, and real-time images to assist in parking detection.

Seattle Traffic Camera Data

Seattle traffic camera feeds are provided by the Seattle Department of Transportation and made accessible through Esri’s ArcGIS platform.

For more information on the data sources we use and their terms of service, please visit the respective websites or contact us directly.
