Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the Streaks mobile application ("App") handles your information. The App is developed and published by Shmyrov Aleksei ("Developer", "we", "us", "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App and delete it from your device.
1. Overview
Streaks is designed with privacy in mind. The App operates entirely on your device and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers or third parties.
All your habit tracking data stays on your device, and the Developer has no access to it.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, process, or transmit any of the following types of personal information:
Identity Information: Name, surname, username, or any other identifiers
Contact Information: Email address, phone number, postal address
Location Data: GPS coordinates, Wi-Fi location, Bluetooth proximity, IP address
Visual or Audio Data: Photos, videos, audio recordings, camera or microphone access
Device Information: Device identifiers used for tracking (IDFA, advertising ID), hardware serial numbers
Usage Analytics: App usage patterns, screen views, interaction data, crash reports
Health Data: No access to HealthKit, fitness data, or health-related information
Financial Information: Payment details, credit card numbers, billing addresses (handled exclusively by Apple)
Contacts and Communications: Contact lists, calendar data, messages, call logs
Browsing History: Web browsing data, search history, cookies
The App does not create user accounts, does not require registration, and does not use authentication or login systems of any kind.
3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored exclusively on your device using iOS system storage mechanisms:
Habit and Activity Information: Names, descriptions, and custom settings for habits you create
Completion Records: Daily check-ins and streak counts for each habit
App Preferences: User interface settings, notification preferences, theme choices
Local Notifications: Reminder schedules configured by you
Important Points:
This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to the Developer or any third party.
The Developer cannot access, view, modify, or recover this data.
If you delete the App, reset your device, or switch to a new device, this data may be permanently lost.
The only way to preserve this data is through iOS device backups (iCloud or local iTunes/Finder backups), which are managed entirely by Apple and your device settings, not by the Developer.
4. No Online Accounts or Cloud Sync
The App does not require or support user account creation.
The App does not sync your data to cloud servers operated by the Developer.
The App does not offer cross-device synchronization.
There is no login, registration, or authentication process of any kind.
All data remains local to your device.
5. No Third-Party Services or Tracking
The App does not use any of the following third-party services:
Analytics Services: No Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar tools
Advertising Networks: No ads, no ad tracking, no advertising SDKs (Google AdMob, Facebook Audience Network, etc.)
Crash Reporting: No Crashlytics, Sentry, Bugsnag, or similar crash reporting tools
Social Media Integration: No Facebook SDK, Google Sign-In, Twitter, or other social login services
Cloud Services: No AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or other cloud storage for user data
Customer Support Tools: No Intercom, Zendesk, or live chat services
The App does not track you across apps or websites and does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, because no tracking occurs.
6. Push Notifications
The App may request permission to send push notifications(for example, daily reminders to complete your habits).
How Notifications Work:
Notifications are generated and scheduled locally on your device by iOS.
No data is sent to external servers to trigger notifications.
You have full control: you can enable or disable notifications at any time in your device Settings > Notifications > Streaks.
The Developer does not collect any information about which notifications you receive, open, or dismiss.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
The App may offer optional paid subscriptions to unlock premium features.
Payment Processing:
All payments are processed by Apple App Store through your Apple ID account.
The Developer does not receive, store, or process your payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.).
Payment information is handled exclusively by Apple in accordance with Apple's privacy and payment terms.
Subscription Information:
The Developer may see aggregated, anonymized sales statistics in App Store Connect (for example, number of subscriptions by country or region).
These reports do not contain personal information and do not allow the Developer to identify individual users.
Refunds and Support:
For questions about charges, invoices, or refunds, please contact Apple Support or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for users of all ages, including children.
Since the App does not collect personal data, does not require account creation, and operates entirely locally on the device, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information to the Developer in any way, please contact us using the information in Section 15, and we will take steps to delete such information.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
On Your Device:
Habit tracking data remains on your device until you manually delete it within the App or until you delete the App entirely.
You have full control to edit or delete individual habits at any time.
Developer Systems:
Since the Developer does not collect or store your personal data, there is no data retention on Developer-controlled systems.
Deleting All Data:
To permanently delete all App data from your device, simply delete the App.
If you have backed up your device to iCloud or iTunes/Finder, the App data may be included in the backup. You can manage backups in your iOS settings.
10. Your Rights and Control
Since we do not collect, process, or control your personal data on external servers, many traditional data protection rights (such as access, correction, or deletion from our systems) are not applicable in the usual sense.
However, you retain complete control over your data on your device:
Access: View all your habit data directly in the App.
Correction: Edit habit names, settings, and records at any time.
Deletion: Delete individual habits or all data by deleting the App.
Portability: Export functionality (if available in future versions) or backup via iOS device backups.
Notifications: Enable or disable notifications in iOS Settings.
For Users in Specific Jurisdictions:
If you are located in the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), California (USA), or other regions with data protection laws (such as GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may have additional rights under local law:
Right to access personal information
Right to rectification
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
Right to restriction of processing
Right to data portability
Right to object to processing
Right to withdraw consent
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Since the Developer does not collect or process your personal data, these rights are largely exercised directly by you on your device. If you have questions or believe any of these rights are relevant to our App, please contact us using the information in Section 15, and we will assist to the best of our ability.
11. International Data Transfers
The Developer is an Individual Entrepreneur (ИП) registered in the Russian Federation.
However, since the App does not collect or transmit your personal data to any servers (including Developer-controlled servers), there are no international data transfers of your personal information.
All data remains stored locally on your device, regardless of your location.
12. Security
On Your Device:
Your habit tracking data is stored on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms (such as UserDefaults or Core Data, depending on implementation).
iOS provides built-in security features, including device encryption (when you set a passcode), app sandboxing, and secure storage.
We recommend that you protect your device with a strong passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID to prevent unauthorized physical access.
No Transmission:
Since no data is transmitted to external servers, there is no risk of interception during transmission.
Your Responsibility:
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.
Keep your iOS version up to date to benefit from the latest security patches.
Be cautious when allowing others to access your device.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
The Developer may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
When Changes Are Made:
The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be revised.
Significant changes may be communicated through an in-app notification, push notification, or an update to the App Store listing.
The current version of the Privacy Policy will always be available within the App or at the Developer's website (if applicable).
Your Acceptance:
Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with the updated Privacy Policy, please stop using the App and delete it from your device.
For Subscriptions:
If changes to the Privacy Policy materially affect your rights or the way your data is handled, and you have an active subscription, you may have the option to cancel your subscription in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
14. Third-Party Links and Services (Future Considerations)
Currently, the App does not integrate with or link to any third-party services, websites, or external content.
If future versions of the App include third-party integrations (such as cloud sync services, analytics, or social sharing), this Privacy Policy will be updated to clearly describe:
What third-party services are used
What data (if any) may be shared with them
The purpose of such data sharing
Links to the third-party services' privacy policies
You will be notified of such changes in accordance with Section 13.
