Strava Visualizer ("we", "our", or "the extension") is a browser extension designed to visualize your Strava activity data. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
1. Data Collection and Storage
The extension does NOT collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any external servers owned by the developer.
- User Data: Your Strava profile, activities, and route data are fetched directly from the Strava Official API and are stored locally in your browser using `chrome.storage.local`.
- Authentication: We use OAuth 2.0 for authentication. Your access tokens are stored securely in your local browser storage.
2. Data Usage
The data fetched from Strava is used solely for the purpose of:
- Displaying your exercise statistics and charts within the extension dashboard.
- Generating downloadable images/posters upon your request.
3. Third-Party Services
- Strava API: We interact with Strava API to retrieve your data.
- Vercel: We use a stateless Vercel function solely for the purpose of exchanging OAuth tokens. No user data is logged or stored during this process.
