Recommended databases: Gale Virtual Reference Library, Student Resources in Context, ResearchITCT (formerly ICONN), Salem (Weapons and Warfare), orBritannica.
Be sure to use correct URL for each in NT for easier access from home.

Recommended: Issues and Controversies (but watch dates!), Student Resources in Context, ResearchItCT(formerly ICONN). Use filters and the correct URL for each database to retrieve article (to be reviewed in library). Notecards will be required.

Have the Google Drive app on your phone. Share video to Drive (works on iPhone), move to "Public Speaking" shared folder. Or, via Drive, add video.

We have pulled many non-fiction/memoir/biography books off the shelves for you. You may also want to consult the reviews by former students at http://shsreads.blogspot.com/ Let the page load, then search by "Label" (AP Lang and Lit). Avoid Explorer for full spinny effect!
Log into Google. Waffle > Drive > More > Drawing
Name with: your full name, French Venn
Make 2 large circles. Highlight one > paint bucket > custom > red? > pull down last column 25%-33%
Repeat for second column (blue?) Just be sure the colors are contrasting!
Insert Text Boxes to type your labels, and for your name.
Review carefully. Print, open as PDF, print to SHS-Lib-Color
OR work on Chromebook, share to me (still listed as Kaluzynski), and I'll print from desktop
Log into Noodletools.com (username is probably google prefix for gr10 and first_last for gr11).
EasyBib is easy but is usually incorrect.
If you are new, see Ms Hsiang. to create an account properly.
If you are asked to Revalidate your account, use the library password (hint: re*****ls)
Create a new project and name it: "Civil War"
Click "Project Inbox" and type Cavaliere... Select the correct period.
Be sure to check the box to create, connect and share paper to Mr. Cav. You will probably have to "allow" the connection. A paper may open but close it for now.
Click "Sources". Create new citation > Database > Reference (most likely).
Use the Quick Cite feature if you like easy shortcuts!
Locate 2 (4-6 Honors) sources minimum from the library's ebook and database collection.
Recommended: Gale Virtual Reference Library, Student Resources in Context, and
possibly Salem Online's Weapons and Warfare. Honors, try ResearchItCT (new name for ICONN.org), especially the journal Civil War Times.
Grab the citation in Citation Tools and the URL from Bookmark.
Once you have your sources, you may start making notecards. Review for rusty students and instruction for transfer students will be available.
