I am a postdoctoral researcher at CAISA—the National Centre for AI in Society, and at Aalborg University. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.
My research combines economic theory with empirical analysis in microeconomics, with a particular focus on labour markets and education. I study how structural changes in society affect the education system and labour markets, as well as which skills and personal characteristics are rewarded in the labour market.
Alongside my research, I have had the privilege of teaching and supervising students in the Economics programme at the University of Copenhagen. I have also been actively engaged in public debate and policy discussions, and during the 2024–25 academic year I was a visiting researcher at the University of Oxford.
At the core of my work lies a curiosity about who gains access to opportunities in society. This curiosity has guided my research on labour market outcomes, educational access and sorting, as well as a project on the allocation of seats in political elections.
