We are so excited to announce that Kathryn Kienholz will be our new interim youth director. She's been a part of St. Paul's for about a year, and is eager to get to know our youth (rising 7th graders, that means you too!) and their families. Check out the youth leaders page to learn more about her!
Our youth group is a queer-affirming, justice-seeking, and fun-loving group for students in 7th - 12th grade! When we meet, we love to have fun together—playing games and getting to know each other. Our youth put their faith into practice by serving the community through projects such as sorting food donations, creating care packages for those in need, and volunteering at non-profit organizations. We also discuss topics such as mental health, LGBTQ+ rights, anti-racism, and spiritual questions through the lens of progressive Christian theology. Come hang out with us – we’d love to meet you!

Our welcome statement: "We, the people of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, believe that God’s love is expansive and unconditional and that, through Christ, God calls us to love one another as God loves us. We welcome all people, regardless of gender, race, age, cultural or religious heritage, ethnic background, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, economic circumstances, family configuration, or difference of ability. We celebrate the worth, dignity, and gifts of every person as a child of God."
