StowPaw Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 29, 2026
Thank you for using StowPaw (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). The App is a local item organization and record-keeping tool.
1. Information We Process
To provide item record-keeping and management features, the App stores the information you actively enter or select locally on your device, including:
item names, categories, tags, properties, notes, quantities, and record timestamps;
financial information you actively enter, such as item prices and total prices;
the nickname you actively enter;
item images, category icons, or profile pictures that you actively select through the system photo picker.
The App does not require you to create an account or provide your real name, phone number, email address, contacts, precise location, device identifiers, or payment information.
2. How We Use Information
The above information is used only to provide features on your device, including item record-keeping, category management, search, total asset value statistics, displaying your nickname and profile picture, and displaying the images you have selected.
The App does not upload your item information, financial information, nickname, images, or other content to the developer's servers, nor does it sell, rent, trade, or share such information with third parties.
3. Photo Access
When you actively select an image for an item, category, or profile, the App uses the photo picker provided by the Android system. The selected image is copied to the App's private storage for later display.
The App does not request sensitive permissions to read your entire photo library, contacts, camera, location, microphone, SMS messages, or call logs.
4. Local Storage and System Backups
The App uses a local device database, the App's private directories, and local preferences to store your data. The developer cannot directly access this local data.
Some Android devices may provide app data backup or device migration features based on your system settings. These features are controlled by the Android system and your device or Google Account settings and do not mean that the developer receives or accesses your local data. You can manage the relevant backup options in your device's system settings.
5. Deleting Your Data
You can delete data in the App in the following ways:
When you delete an individual item, the related item record, tags, properties and values, and local images will be deleted;
When you delete a custom category that is not used by any item, the related category information and local images will be deleted;
After you confirm the action in "My - Settings - Clear Cache", the App uses system capabilities to clear all App data.
Please note: "Clear Cache" deletes all local data in the App, including item records, categories, nickname, profile picture, images, and settings. This action cannot be undone.
Because the App does not provide accounts or cloud services, the developer does not retain any server-side user data for further deletion.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children because it does not collect or transmit user data.
7. Third-Party Services
The App currently does not integrate advertising, behavioral analytics, crash reporting, login, payment, cloud synchronization, or other services that transmit user data to third parties.
If third-party services that process user data are added in the future, the developer will update this Privacy Policy before using them and obtain your consent where applicable.
8. Data Safety Statement
Based on the actual functionality of this version of the App, the Google Play Data Safety form should accurately state that:
no user data is collected;
no user data is shared with third parties;
no advertising is provided;
account creation is not required;
users can delete all local data through "Clear Cache" in the App.
If network connectivity, advertising, analytics, crash reporting, accounts, payments, cloud synchronization, or other third-party SDKs are added in the future, the Google Play Data Safety form and this Privacy Policy must be reassessed and updated first.
9. Updates to This Policy
The developer may update this Privacy Policy due to feature or legal requirements. The updated policy will be published in the App and at the public Privacy Policy URL, and the "Effective Date" will be updated. If an update involves material changes, the developer will notify you in an appropriate manner.
