Introduction
Welcome to Storivox. This Privacy Policy describes what happens to your data when you use our iOS and Android application. The short version: Storivox runs entirely on your device, and we do not collect, receive, or store any of your personal information.
Who We Are
Storivox is owned and operated by DASS, a small, self-funded team. We build tools that turn your words into audio without sending them to a server.
Information We Collect
None.
Storivox has no account system, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no server of its own. We do not receive your scripts, your recordings, your documents, your audio, or any identifier tied to you.
What Stays On Your Device
Everything you create in Storivox is written to the app's private storage on your phone and never leaves it:
- Scripts and projects you write, paste, or import
- The audio Storivox generates, and any file you export or share
- Voice recordings you make for transcription, and the transcripts produced from them
- Documents you open in Reading mode, and the reading position in them
- The voice package used to generate speech
- Your settings, language choice, and subscription status
Speech synthesis and speech recognition both run locally, against models stored on your device. Nothing you write, record, or import is uploaded for processing.
Uninstalling the app removes all of it from your device.
Microphone
Storivox asks for microphone access only when you start a transcription. The recording is written to your device and transcribed on your device. It is never uploaded, and we never hear it.
Files You Import
When you open a TXT, DOCX, or PDF file, Storivox reads it on your device so it can be read aloud. The file is not copied anywhere off your device and is not sent to us or to anyone else.
Internet Access
This version of Storivox does not send your content anywhere. The Android release does not even request internet permission, so the app cannot connect to a network at all.
The only times the internet is involved are actions you start yourself:
- Tapping a link in the app (such as this policy) opens your own browser.
- Buying a subscription opens Apple's or Google's payment sheet.
If a future version adds a feature that uses the network — such as downloading additional voices or syncing projects between devices — we will update this policy before that version is released.
Purchases
Storivox Pro is sold as a weekly, monthly, or yearly subscription through the App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google process the payment and manage the subscription. We never see your card number, your billing address, or your name. The stores provide us only with aggregate sales reports that do not identify individual buyers.
You can view, change, or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Third-Party Services
Storivox embeds no third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting services.
The only third parties involved are Apple and Google, and only for processing subscription payments. Their handling of that data is covered by their own privacy policies.
What We Do Not Do
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No tracking across apps or websites.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
- No reading, storing, or training any model on your scripts, recordings, or audio.
Your Rights
Data Deletion: because we hold nothing about you, there is nothing on our side to request the deletion of. Deleting the app removes everything Storivox stored on your device. If you would still like written confirmation, email us and we will provide it.

Children
Storivox is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes To This Policy
If a future version of Storivox changes what leaves your device, this policy will be updated and the date at the top will change before that version is released.
