Hello! I followed everything from this now closed thread, but store content will still not install. Support said the best option was to start a new thread since they've had a lot of people saying this is still an issue. I'm hoping someone has an idea but I did pay for some of this content with real money and not points so I'm going to be seriously upset if I can't access it.

For some more info, when I try to install store content, it says that my game needs to be fully up to date (it is, as well as the EA App). I did try to convert the store content to .packages as suggested on a tumblr thread, but that made it so the game wouldn't launch at all. I'm at a loss and I've been messing around for five hours since I was forced to switch over to the app. Any ideas are appreciated, or EA actually correcting this issue instead of saying it's solved when it's not would be helpful.

If that doesn't or didn't help, the next step is to try downloading with a different browser than your usual one, for example Firefox works well with the store. Please use another clean folder for this test, just to be thorough.

I'm having the issue where the ea app says I own Roaring heights and monte vista, but won't download or install; I go to the sims 3 store (regardless of browser) and it shows I don't own it, when I do own it; I've always had issues where the store tells me I don't own a pack I bought payed for and have played previously. How can I install these worlds when the ea app doesn't have a download feature for these? and restarting my pc, as well as clearing cache on the ea app don't work as I've tried it many times.

@freakyteen21Store content can be downloaded while in game. Open the game and in the load game screen and further click the optiond (...) and click Open Downloads Dashboard. In live mode there is an option Player Profile and Wall. Most features (but not all) of tnesims3.com is available in game now. If you bought the content from the store or the app may (probably) won't get an email but the item will probably say you own this. Another thing to check if you bought the item from EA is your EA account purchase history. Packs may have to be installed from the EA app. click manage next to play and click manage add-ons.

@puzzlezaddictThe thesims3.com site hasn't worked right for months. Like I said and I'll repeat you can do almost all thesims3.com stuff in game and I'm willing to be thesims3.com will go away sometime so get used to using the Open Downloads dashboard and manage/manage add-ons. IT WORKS!!!

I bought roaring heights from the EA store and its not showing up anywhere on my Sims 3 game. The only place it shows up is on the EA store when I go to manage Ad-ons but in Sims 3, its nowhere to be found.

If you can't download RH from either location, check your inbox for a confirmation email from EA. You should have received a product code for RH that you can register on the store site. Sigh in using the same email address and password you use in the EA App, scroll down to the bottom of the page, click Redeem a Code, and enter that code. Then RH should show up in your purchase history and/or be downloadable from its product page.

Hello, I tried to find a another thread like my problem, but to no avail. I tried to find the prodct code so i could register it on the sims 3 store, but no avail. I also checked to see if all my games were registered that I had purchased off of EA, and they were already, just not dragon valley. I believe this is a problem. PLS HELP!!

@AttaGirl04 First Dragon Valley is a store item and not an expansion pack. If you purchased it through the Sims 3 store you do not get a code as it is added to your EA account automatically. The code is is only needed when you buy from a third party vendor. The code is an activation code to let the system know it is a valid purchase. Once you enter the code AND that code is accepted by the system, that code can not be used again. If your using a pc thje item needs to be downloaded and installed. If you are using Origin the item in the store should say download instead of buy. Once the item is in the downloads tab of the launcher you need to click install. If you are using the EA app that item should appear in the downloads dashboard. Click download and the item should download AND install to the game. Check the EA account purchase history. Should there still be an issue you will have to contact an EA game consultant about this issue. This is an open public forum for users by users and accounts can not be accessed here.

@AttaGirl04 If you have purchased Dragon Valley on Origin / EA App, you should have got a confirmation email with the product key. There might be an additional code for Celtic Lands if you got the Gold Edition. For 3rd party stores, it depends on how they handle these, but it is usually by email.

Yesterday I bought the Sims 3 Worlds bundle from the EA app on PC. The bundle comes with 3 codes for Monte Vista, Hidden Springs and a chocolate fountain. The codes for Hidden Springs and the chocolate fountain were fine, however when I put the Monte Vista code in the sims 3 website it says it has already been redeemed. I don't understand how this would be possible considering I got it directly from the EA app, and the other two codes worked fine.

Product: The Sims 4

Platform:Microsoft XBOX One

Which language are you playing the game in? English

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What is your current game version number? 1.82.4.2300

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All content

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? in the reward traits menu

What happens when the bug occurs? All the reward traits, that my current sims had, has reset, and tells me i can buy them, but my sims already has those traits, the sim still behaves like it still has those traits, thankfully, but not rebuying traits just in case...

What do you expect to see? all the reward traits in my reward trait menu, to show all the traits i bought, being greyed-out

Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

ive just spotted and unusual thing on reward traits in my sims game, apparently, the brave trait, and the paranormal trait is greyed out, but the rest of them are not, thought i point that out as i noticed this, might give aclue to why this is, and how it could be fixed?

So I took out all my mods, repaired the game, and uninstalled it, and the reward store is still broken? When I try to redeem traits from the rewards store it takes the points away but doesn't actually give me the trait? I have no mods.

I understand that I have to wait a bit for my Sim's items to sell at the consignment store, while inventory selling is instant, but is there any other difference? Can they sell for more at the consignment store, for example? Because if they don't, then the instant selling in the inventory pretty much makes consignment stores redundant and perhaps counter-productive, especially with the waiting and the trip to the store and making sure it is open, right?

The advantage of the consignment store is the possiblity of gaining reputation, completing challenges and having significant discount on random items. Moreover good or bad sales can have an effect on the mood of you sim.

According to this wiki : _store

Sims are able to sell things like fruit, fish, inventions, paintings, and sculptures to the shop and put them on display for other Sims to buy. Sims can build a reputation at the store, making sales more profitable. If a Sim's reputation is high, more Sims will buy his or her stuff. The store sells items every day at 5 PM / 17:00. Similar to collections, the consignment store is in a Sim's skill journal and comes with its own unique challenges to achieve. A chart of all the items sold by the Sim is given. In addition to selling, the consignment store will randomly change its inventory, which may include a variety of items such as gems, inventions, paintings, books, music boxes, cameras, incense holders and Magic Gnomes. Objects that can otherwise be found in Buy Mode can often be obtained at a significant discount at the consignment store should they be available. Sims may receive a positive moodlet from making a good sale as well as a negative moodlet for paying too much for an item.

Johnny Smith works at the store; as he is an immobile NPC, sims can only interact with him to buy and sell items. On the left side of the store there is a special object display, where a new item will be stocked each month. Special objects include playable video game cabinets, a Sky Diving Machine, and more. Near the special object display is a Lottery Machine. The player can purchase lottery tickets here for a chance to win 10, 50, or 100.

Various furniture items can be purchased from the Strangetown Store. During some missions, the player will be asked to buy an item for a sim, such as the Rotting Eggplant Lipstick that Ava Cadavra favors. Items in the store are refreshed every two days, and there are always 12 items available at a time, six of which will always be different varieties of the essential furniture items (e.g. beds). The remaining six items can vary, and may include specialty objects such as the Plasma TV or the Massage Bubbler.

Once every month, a special item becomes available to purchase from the store. There are 12 items in total, one for each month of the year. Below is a list of the special items available in each month. 0852c4b9a8
