Stopwatch does not require an account, email, phone number, or any personal information to work.
Data Stored on Your Device
The app stores the following **locally on your device only** using secure on-device storage (AsyncStorage):
- Lap times and lap history
- Stopwatch session data (elapsed time, lap splits)
This data:
- Stays on your phone or tablet
- Is **not** sent to our servers
- Is **not** shared with third parties
- Can be cleared by tapping **Reset** in the app or by uninstalling the app
Permissions
Stopwatch does **not** request sensitive permissions such as:
- Location
- Camera or microphone
- Contacts
- Phone or SMS
- Storage access (beyond its own app data)
Third-Party Services
Stopwatch does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
If you downloaded the app through **Google Play Store**, Google may collect certain information according to [Google's Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy). That collection is governed by Google, not by us.
Children's Privacy
Stopwatch does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages and stores data only on the device.

Because all data remains on your device, you control it. We recommend keeping your device locked with a PIN, password, or biometric security.

Delete your data** — use the in-app Reset button or uninstall the app
Stop using the app** — uninstall at any time from your device settings
