80 years after the Holocaust, the number of anti-Semitic attacks in Germany has risen from 7 to 29 registered cases per day in just a few months. However, society is reacting with ignorance and a lack of empathy. Anti-Semitism is too often seen as a problem of the past, and even socially committed celebrities in Germany refuse to take a clear stance against anti-Semitism.Â
That's why the Central Council of Jews needed a campaign to ensure that people finally empathize with those affected by anti-Semitism and are committed to supporting them in the event of anti-Semitic attacks in everyday life.
