Stop! Name Animal Thing ("the app") is made by FAI Systems. This policy explains what information the app stores, why, and how you can delete it. For questions, email Zeina@fai-systems.com at any time.
When you use online features (rooms, friends and scoreboards), the app creates an anonymous account for you. We never ask for your email, phone number or real name. We store:
a random account ID created by Google Firebase
the nickname you choose
your points, games played, wins and chosen pen
your friend code and the list of friends you add
the answers and votes you enter in online rooms
words you choose to send us with the Suggest button, and reports you send about other players (their nickname and account ID)
Games against bots stay on your phone; their results only add to your points.
Only to run the game: to let you play with friends in real time, keep your score and unlocked pens, and show scoreboards.
Other players can see your nickname, points and chosen pen on scoreboards.
Players in the same room can see your answers and votes for that game.
We do not sell your information, show ads, or use it for tracking or advertising.
The data is stored with Google Firebase, which runs the app's servers for us. Google handles it under its own privacy and security terms.
Until you delete it. Game rooms may be removed after they end.
In the app: tap "Delete my data" at the bottom of the home screen. This permanently deletes your nickname, points, pens, friend code and friend list, and your anonymous account.
By email: write to Zeina@fai-systems.com with your nickname and friend code (on the Friends screen) and we will delete your data within 30 days, including answers stored with past game rooms and any words you suggested.
The app is intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has used the online features, email us and we will delete their data.
All data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and database rules only let each player change their own information.
The app automatically hides offensive nicknames and answers. You can report or block any player by tapping their name. Blocked players are hidden on your phone only; the list of players you block is never sent to us. We review reports within 24 hours and remove offensive players.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email us to make a request.
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
