Student Intervention Events
Stoke-on-Trent Mathematics Excellence Partnership organises and funds a variety of intervention activities in mathematics for students in the City.
These are targeted at specific year groups and ability ranges.
We will be running sessions for Year 7, year 9 students and also 3 different sessions for year 11, based on ability cohorts. THere is also a city-wide approach to support transition from GCSE to A Level.
We also hope to organise some primary school events for the Summer and some focused intervention sessions for students studying A Level mathematics.
We have also produced a PowerPoint of GCSE starter questions to use in the classroom. THis can be downloaded from the useful links page.
