Considering a career in teaching maths or physics?

Information about School Experience Internships Summer 2020

St Joseph's Teaching school, in liaison with Stoke MEP, Staffordshire University Education, St Joseph's SCITT and the OAKS (Ormiston SIr Stanley Matthews Academy and Keele University)will again be running the paid internship scheme this summer for undergraduates studying a maths, physics or engineering degree who are considering teaching as a career.

The scheme will run for 4 weeks from 8th June to 3rd July 2020.

Successful applicants will work alongside maths or science teachers in a local secondary school or alongside teachers in primary schools.

Some of the placements are funded as part of a government initiative to encourage more graduates to consider teaching as a career.

Places are available for undergraduates of maths and science in any year of their degree.
