HELP US FIND THE NEXT TOP GAMES DEVELOPER!
See below for the game prototypes created relating to this theme. All of these were made in just one week as part of Stoke ON TREND GamesJam hosted by Stoke-on-Trent City Centre BID and Staffordshire University, mainly by Foundation Year and First Year students across games courses at Staffordshire University.
They might be a little rough around the edges due to the timeframe in which they were made, but we're sure you'll agree that they hold great promise and potential.
Some games are playable via your mobile phone right here in the city centre, whereas some you will need to download onto your PC. However, they all do feature videos of gameplay so that you can get a taste for the game and see how it works; be sure to make a note of your favourites so that you can play them at home later!
We need your help though as YOUR VOTE will help decide which game is the winner, earning its creators the ultimate prize... The opportunity to work in a studio style environment at the Staffordshire University for a six-week period over the summer of 2021 with access to the University’s commercial licenses to turn their game into a commercially releasable game.

The streets of Piccadilly used to be a lively community where people came to explore the cultures of the world. When they didn't expect it the most, everybody vanished whilst the sky stayed dark. For an unknown reason, you survived this event. You must first leave the Piccadilly streets to explore the cause of this event. Be aware, a new guest has arrived.

Quoffi is a cafe simulation where you're tasked to serve as many drinks to customers in a limited time! Lets see if you can maintain the piccadilly cafes reputation in a fight to make as many customers happy!

Take over the old pizzeria, and make some pottery on Piccadilly Street! Take the request, get and mould the clay, and then fire it before selling it to the customers coming to see the hottest pottery shop in town.

Piccadilly 'pocalypse
Run along the run down rooftops of piccadilly to escape your fate in the post apocalyptic take on one of the city centre streets of Stoke-on-Trent.
