"The Funny Farm Rescue Animal Sanctuary is a 15-acre privately owned farm in Mays Landing, New Jersey, that shelters and cares for unwanted, sick, elderly, injured, and abused animals since 2000. We pride ourselves on the well being of over 550 animals. We give domestic, farm and exotic animals the opportunity to live out their nature lives in a happy, safe and protected home...
Another part of our mission is to prevent the cruelty to animals by increasing the awareness of animal abuse through education. Our knowledge, expertise and facilities make us truly unique in South Jersey and the surrounding area. We are often the last hope for these abused and abandoned animals."

If the volunteer chooses the road cleanup at this site the additional "Adopt-A-Road Release Form" is required. Volunteers can either:
1) Print and sign the form and bring it to the event
2) The Adopt-a-Road form will be available to sign the day of the event

At the Funny Farm Rescue, volunteers will assist in beautification and maintenance of the service site property by choosing from three different mini projects available
Outdoors Project
Signed volunteer waiver required
Animals free roam the property
Bagged Lunch will be provided

Complete volunteer form prior to the event
Maintenance and beautification of property
The mini projects to choose from include:
Road Cleanup - picking up trash and debris on the road leading to the property
Cleaning animals pens - where volunteers will interact with the animals and remove animal waste from pens with pitch forks
Painting & Building project - volunteers will decorate and construct something that will beautify the service site.
