"Eastern Service Workers Association (ESWA) is a free and voluntary membership association run by and for [South Jersey's] service workers, temporary, domestic and other low-income workers and their families... we organize together to fight for long-term solutions to poverty conditions caused by lack of living wages. Membership benefits include emergency food, clothing, preventive medical care and non-emergency dental care, legal advice and more."
Volunteers will have to option to:
1. Organize and sort clothes donations for a community clothes drive open to the pubic
2. Canvas the local neighborhood promoting the organization's upcoming events
Outdoors Project
Exposure to community members
Walking extended distances during canvassing
Bagged lunch will be provided
Organization and sorting of clothing donations
Upholding social distancing regulations and line control during clothing drive
Canvassing local neighbors near the service site
During canvassing volunteers must be knowledgeable of the upcoming events for the organization
Dress for the weather
Mask required (BYOM)
Gloves can be provided
