This project collaborates with the Brooklyn Art Library to allow Stockton members to take part in their Sketch Book Project as well as participate in a dialogue and reflect session about the meaning behind service.
Virtual Event via Zoom
Volunteers will be asked to return the sketchbooks to the SCCESL (B106) at a later date.
Volunteers must stop by the Stockton Center for community Engagement and Service-Learning (SCCESL) at Room B-106 prior to the event to pick up the supplies:
Donated sketchbook
Craft kit that included materials needed to fill the sketchbook with art
During the event, volunteers will be ask to fill the sketchbook with artwork that symbolizes "What service means to them."
Volunteers must actively participate in a dialogue and reflection session of the artwork they created and the impact of the MLK Day of Service
Volunteers must submit the materials generated before the end of the service project at 2:00PM EST to the Project Submissions link provided on this webpage.
