"Interact is a community service organization that helps teenagers develop leadership skills and discover the power of Service Above Self. We support our local, regional, national, and International communities by organizing and managing a series of service projects and fundraisers.
Although members do a fair amount of “interacting” with community members and fellow Interactors within and beyond our school, the club's title is short for “International Action.” Our major International project is to help support the impoverished Armando Rosenberg Home & School in the Dominican Republic, but we do a lot more than that. Over the last few years, we have annually donated approximately $1,000 per year to various local, national, and International charities and completed approximately 2,000 community service hours. "
