This Privacy Policy describes how "StockSEO AI — Adobe Stock AutoTagger & Optimizer" (the "Extension") collects, processes, stores, and transfers your data. We comply strictly with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy.
1. Collection of User Data To provide automated metadata generation, we collect the following data explicitly declared in our permissions:
Personally Identifiable Information (PII): Your email address (collected upon login).
Authentication Information: Your account password (used for Firebase authentication) and your personal API keys (OpenRouter, OpenAI, or Google Gemini) provided voluntarily in the settings.
Website Content: Image thumbnails and data from contributor.stock.adobe.com and Adobe's content delivery network ftcdn.net.
User Preferences: Extension settings and session history.
2. Processing of User Data
PII & Authentication: Your email and password are used exclusively to securely authenticate your account and verify your PRO license status.
Content Data: We process image thumbnails from ftcdn.net and send them using your API key to your chosen AI provider to generate relevant titles and keywords.
3. Storage and Retention of User Data
Local Storage: Your API keys, settings, and session history are stored securely on your local device using chrome.storage.local. They are retained until you uninstall the Extension or clear local data.
Cloud Storage: Your email address and authentication tokens are stored securely on Google Firebase for license management and are retained as long as your account exists.
4. Sharing and Transfer of User Data Data is only transferred via secure HTTPS to the exact hosts requested in our manifest:
identitytoolkit.googleapis.com, securetoken.googleapis.com, and firestore.googleapis.com: Receives your email and password for secure Firebase authentication and database license verification.
api.openai.com, openrouter.ai, or generativelanguage.googleapis.com: Receives thumbnail images and prompts to generate metadata (depending on which API you activate).
api.datamuse.com: Receives single-word queries to return synonym suggestions.
We do not send your data to our own servers or any undisclosed third parties.
5. Data Security All data transfers are encrypted in transit using secure HTTPS protocols. Authentication API keys are never stored on external databases; they remain on your device and are sent directly to the official AI providers. User passwords are encrypted and managed securely by Google Firebase.
6. Limited Use Disclosure In strict compliance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, we affirm that:
We do not and will not sell your personal data to third parties.
We do not use or transfer your personal data for purposes unrelated to the core functionality of the Extension.
We do not use or transfer your personal data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
7. User Rights and Deletion You can access, modify, or delete your locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the Extension. To completely delete your account and email from our Firebase database, contact the developer at: avpapups@gmail.com.
