So I have a ThinkPad E580. When I first got this laptop, there were lots of cool wallpapers that came pre-loaded with it. However, I have fully reset Windows 10, and all of these wallpapers have now disappeared. Does anyone have a folder with these wallpapers?

I think this has already been posted here before and got deleted. There is this awesome Google Photos album with stock wallpapers from every single device. When a new device is released its wallpapers are uploaded there almost instantly. Sometimes wallpapers appear there before the phone is announced: a few days before Unpacked 2020 all of Galaxy S20 wallpapers were already there, including video wallpapers. Here's the link:

I don't mind stock wallpapers but these one may be discussable for many people, i don't mind they're delivered - its company value but i would like to have them as option to remove. I think a choice is a good option.

I have the same question after the Android 10 update I changed my wallpaper to a custom photo, now I would like to change back to the original, but they are gone. There are some new standard wallpapers, but not the ones that were available in Android 9.

Note: I'm a lover of wallpapers & thus have ~all flavors and main Ubuntu wallpapers installed; they aren't all in the same directories, but common places to look are in /usr/share/wallpapers and /usr/share/backgrounds but they do vary on flavor and DEsktop.

This version of macOS builds on Big Sur, bringing Shortcuts and a range of features that are also part of iOS and iPadOS 15. As of the first beta, Monterey does not include any new nature wallpapers as previous releases has.

Apart from OEM wallpapers, numerous apps are available on the Google Play Store, ranging from individual live wallpapers to extensive collections with every wallpaper you can dream of. If you like to change the wallpaper on your smartphone frequently, these apps are worth checking out.

In this article, we will show you where to find all Windows 11 default wallpapers. Unlike macOS, where users can easily access a list of all stock wallpapers, Windows 11 has a somewhat weird wallpaper-picking mechanism.

The Settings app displays only five of the most recent images and does not provide a clear way to access default wallpapers. Here is a solution: You can find Windows 11 stock wallpapers using File Explorer.

Another set of stock Windows 11 wallpapers is available on the drive C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper. There, Windows keeps images from several themes, such as "Captured Motion," "Flow," "Glow," and "Sunrise." All those pictures are available in high resolution to look best on any modern screen.

If you are not ready to jump from Windows 10 to Windows 11, you can still access beautiful images from the newest operating system. We have gathered all Windows 11 stock wallpapers in a ZIP archive you can download using this link.

Here are four wallpapers at a resolution of 5120x2880. Each one is less than 600k. They were created in Gimp and Blender and are released under the CC0 license. I tried to create something "geometric, with thin lines", together with the Arch logo. All of the images are 1-bit b/w or 2-bit indexed PNG images.

Each folder includes the Inkscape SVG I used to make the image, and some pre-rendered png size variants as well. The png files are decently small (295 KB for 76804320), and if you wanted to include the SVG in the package, that would cover any screen size and be even smaller (a little under 10 KB). I've set the license in the Inkscape file to be CC0; if you need me to do anything else to indicate the license of the wallpapers, let me know. Also, since it's an SVG, the colors could be easily changed if desired.

Including wallpapers that are "stolen from the internet" (as one poster put it) would turn Arch into a pirate distribution. As tempting as that is, maties, it would be a highly controversial move, with mixed receptions.

If you're looking to spice things up, one of the best ways is to download the pre-installed wallpapers from another phone once yours are old hat. In contrast to cropping desktop backgrounds or trying to find a home screen-worthy photo, grabbing a stock wallpaper is simple and offers an elegant look. The app we'll highlight below makes this process incredibly easy, and it works for pretty much every phone out there.

The app that makes it super easy to download stock wallpapers is called STOKiE, and it's available for free on the Google Play Store. However, if you'd like an ad-free experience, you can purchase STOKiE PRO for $2.49 instead.

When you open the app, you'll be on the Recent tab. This shows the newest wallpapers, generally from the newest phones. But if you just want to find something you like rather than a specific phone's wallpapers, I'd recommend switching to the Popular tab.

I compiled a list of the default Windows XP desktop background wallpapers. XP was everywhere when I was getting my start on the web. Windows XP & its lovable desktop backgrounds helped shape the designer I am today, much the way the house in which I grew up shaped my personality.

In addition to this, Gizdev have the stock wallpapers, how to root guides & some of the awesome cool themes

I was annoyed by the exact same problem, so I have programmed an app that automatically saves your wallpapers and your live wallpapers too. It makes it easy to revert to a previous wallpaper. It is called Wallpaper Saver, by Appdictive, and it's free in the Play Store. (It does not require root access.)

The location of the stock wallpapers is in an apk file that you should find on your device at /system/framework/framework-res.apk. Pull that file to your computer and then browse its internals. A search for a file with wallpaper in its name should prove fruitful.

On September 14, 2021, Tim Cook and company announced the newest flagship iPhone devices. Each new device is advertised with a great image, but it is never released. Thankfully, with the help of the iDownloadBlog Wallpapers of the Week community, we have the official iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro wallpapers for iOS 15, extracted from the final release candidate.

The Alienware wallpapers and backgrounds are available in JPEG format. The entire collection of images is available for download in the attachments section of this article. All the images are compressed into a single zip format file for ease of access.

If you are unable to find the "visibility.json" file for some reason, you can also always just re-install Wallpaper Engine. This will also restore all default wallpapers but will require you to re-download all wallpapers which you can avoid by following the steps above.

Typically, Apple releases a new set of default wallpapers with major system software releases, like you can get with the default iOS 14 wallpapers. But occasionally Apple surprises us and introduces new wallpapers with interim software updates as well, and in this case you can find additional wallpapers in iOS 14 introduced with iOS 14.2 through iOS 14.7.

Getting your hands on one of these wallpapers is not nearly as hard as you may think, as we have sourced them for you in full resolution. Therefore, regardless of what iPhone model you own, these wallpapers are good enough to fill up your entire screen without any degradation in image quality.

Yeah I know. Fact is, there are no new wallpapers exclusive to iOS/iPadOS 14.7 as the title of the article would suggest. All of the 8 light/dark wallpapers presented in this article are already available in the current public release, 14.6, and none will require the 14.7 update to get them by default.

Custom wallpapers are different. Firstly, as soon as you touch the image blows up by about 10% cutting off the edges of the image, which is really bad especially considering that the display is already so narrow. Secondly, upon release, it simply fades back to the original rather than playing in reverse. For some wallpapers I could see how that might be what you want, but for me this isn't idea and I would like to keep the reversal.
