Still (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a private journaling application designed to help you write and reflect in a quiet and secure environment. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
By installing or using Still, you agree to the practices described in this Policy
Still is built to protect your privacy. The App does not create accounts, does not require login, and does not upload or share your data with any server.
You may write personal thoughts, reflections, or messages inside the App.
This data is:
stored locally on your device
encrypted when device-level encryption is enabled
never transmitted to us
never uploaded to external servers
We do not have access to this information.
Still does not collect personal data, analytics, behavioral data, or identifiers.
We do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools.
Still may request access to:
Biometric authentication (optional): Used only to unlock the App. No biometric data is stored by Still; validation is handled by your device.
Local storage: Used to save your journal entries.
No other permissions are required.
If premium features are offered, they are processed through Google Play Billing.
We do not collect or store your payment details; all transactions are handled by Google Play.
Because Still stores all your content locally and does not collect external data, we only use information on your device to:
display your entries
secure your journal with a passcode or biometric lock
apply your selected theme or color preference
maintain your writing history
No data is shared, sold, or transmitted.
Still does not use advertising SDKs, analytics providers, cloud backups, or external data processors.
Your writing remains fully on your device.
Your entries are stored locally and protected by device-level encryption.
If you enable the App passcode or biometric lock, access to your journal requires authentication.
While we use reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is completely secure.
If you share your device with others, they may access your data unless protected with a device lock or a Still passcode.
Still is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You control your data entirely:
Delete entries directly inside the App
Uninstalling the App removes all local data
Disable or enable passcode/biometric lock at any time
No data remains on any external server after uninstalling, because no external storage is used.
We may update this Policy to reflect new features or legal requirements. When updated, the “Effective Date” will change. The new Policy will be available in the same location.
