I'm running as an independent candidate for the office of Arizona Senator because I believe it's time for real change—change that puts you, the citizens, back in control. Unlike my opponents, Kari Lake, who moved to Arizona in 1996, and Ruben Gallego, who arrived in 2006, I've lived through the challenges and changes this state has faced. I understand what makes Arizona unique, and I know what it needs.
My platform is simple: I am here to represent your voice. I've watched as our government has become increasingly dysfunctional, wasting taxpayer dollars on endless investigations that lead nowhere. Meanwhile, the two-party system seems like one big party working against us, the citizens.
I want to keep your hard-earned paychecks in your pockets and ensure that our retirement funds remain solvent and untouchable by the bloated federal government. This means taking on the monumental task of downsizing the federal government and bringing industry and manufacturing back to America. We need to create jobs that provide real opportunities, not just service jobs that force people to work multiple shifts to make ends meet.
The time has come to stop the hollow promises and start making meaningful changes. Let's bring back the stability and prosperity that once defined our country. I'm here to fight for you, to listen to you, and to make sure your voice is heard in Washington.
Together, we can break free from the broken system and build a future where Arizona leads the way.
Background: Born at St. Joe’s in 1965, you grew up in Sunnyslope, an area that was all horse property at the time. You attended Richard E. Miller, Royal Palm Elementary, and Sunnyslope High School. You joined the military as a UH-1H helicopter crew chief and served in Fairbanks, Alaska, and Fort Hood, Texas. After Desert Storm, you attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, and later worked for Serv-Air and the Maryland State Troopers as a medevac mechanic. You returned home to Tempe, Arizona, in 1998, where you live with your wife Sheila and your three boys. You’ve never participated in politics but feel compelled to try to make things better.
Views:
Constitution: I want to keep the Constitution intact and read it as it was written, believing that people are losing their rights.
Abortion: I believe it’s a state issue, not a federal one, and that Planned Parenthood should go away, with abortion being a medical issue paid for by those who choose it.
Immigration: I think all illegal immigrants should be sent back and apply for proper entry, and countries with many illegal immigrants in the U.S. should forfeit any foreign aid.
Economy: I prioritize downsizing the federal government, closing redundant offices, and enforcing strict budgeting and spending transparency.
Gun Control: I believe that gun control isn’t the issue; rather, mental health and crime are the real problems.
State Representation: I want to represent the people of Arizona and vote as they wish, advocating for stronger state responses over federal ones, aligning with Barry Goldwater’s views.
Arizona’s Growth: I’ve seen changes in Arizona, such as cotton fields turning into condos and fruit groves into shopping malls, and you want to address issues like forest mismanagement and wildfires.
Federal Mandates: I aim to go to DC to secure the funding Arizona needs to improve schools, remove federal mandates, and provide tax relief.
