Steve Socki is an independent animation artist who lives in Chicago. He received an MFA from Cal Arts where he studied under his mentor Jules Engel. His recent short films, Enfold, Hallowstide & Sparrow Duet have been selected to over 200 national and international film festivals. This work has received more than 60 awards. Steve worked for over 20 years in Hollywood as an animation director & producer on animated TV series such as Rugrats, Hey Arnold, and Curious George, He was an animation artist on The Simpsons, Futurama, and other shows. He was nominated for 5 Emmy Awards and won 1.
