Overview:
"Project SB" is a tactics and card game hybrid. The game tells a story about a protagonist fighting against an evil emperor, though you find out he may not have been in the wrong. As you explore the campaign, the player will collect cards representing armies conquered and friends gained, building out your deck to defeat enemies in battle. The story is told through a visual novel dialogue system with cinematic cutscenes.
*This game was not finished; however, the foundational systems and a prototype was created.

The areas of design that I worked in were:
Level Design.
Cinematic Cut Scenes.
Encounter designs.
As the team's 3D Artist I:
Modeled, textured, and rigged the default soldier (including facial rigging).
Imported my models and animations into UE4.
Implemented the animation blueprints for the models.
Constructed a 'beautiful corner' for art style.
Created tile-able textures and materials for the environment.
Implemented lighting and some vfx.
As a programmer I worked on cinematic cut scene blueprints:
This involved blueprints for 3d camera moves, bringing a normal visual novel scene into 3d space.
Also included blueprints to animate the text rollout for the visual novel widgets.
Incorporate animation state/blend shape changes in-line with the story beats displayed in a data table.
