1. Introduction Welcome to Step (the "App"), developed by Soft Trump Software Solutions. We are committed to helping you achieve your goals through incremental progress. Our App is built with a "Privacy-First" approach, ensuring that your personal milestones and progress data stay entirely on your device.
2. Data Collection & Usage
Local-Only Storage: Step is a local-only application. All data, including goal names, current progress percentages, and draft goal titles, are stored exclusively on your device's internal storage using AsyncStorage.
Zero Data Transmission: We do not operate any backend servers, cloud databases, or APIs. Your goals and progress metrics never leave your device and are never transmitted to us or any third parties.
No Accounts Required: You can use Step immediately without creating an account, providing an email address, or linking any social media profiles.
3. Permissions
Haptics: The App uses your device's haptic engine to provide tactile feedback when you increment or decrement your progress, enhancing the physical feel of taking a "step."
No Sensitive Access: Step does not request or require access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photo gallery.
4. Third-Party Services Step provides a clean, focused experience. We do not use third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics or Firebase), data brokers, or advertising SDKs. Your progress and usage patterns are not tracked.
5. Data Control & Deletion You have absolute control over your information:
Manual Reset: Resetting a goal within the App overwrites the previous progress data in your local storage.
Full Reset: You can erase all App data by clearing the storage/cache in your device settings or by uninstalling the App. Once uninstalled, the local storage file is removed by the operating system and cannot be recovered.
6. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any changes will be indicated by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
