Liam is a Master of Forestry student studying big tree mortality in fire-excluded Sierra Nevada Mixed Conifer ecosystems. His past research experience includes work in fire ecology, hydrology and geomorphology, in oak woodlands, mixed conifer, redwood and subalpine ecosystems throughout California. Prior to his career in research, Liam worked as a cook, sawyer, dishwasher, lumper, teamaker, driver, and educator.
