I'm interested in the relationship between forest management and wildfire severity in California at both the forest stand level and the landscape level. My research interests include geospatial analysis, wildfire behavior, silviculture, California's forest management policy and Forest Practice Rules, and fuel loads in managed forests. My current projects focus on post-fire management and reforestation activities and their influence on fire severity in reburns in Sierra Nevada mixed conifer forests.
