Autym is a Master of Forestry student broadly interested in beneficial fire and science communication. Before starting the M.F. program at UC Berkeley, she was the Statewide Coordinator for the California Fire Science Consortium, where she focused on two-way knowledge exchange between researchers and decision-makers. She is continuing this work through graduate school (though at a reduced capacity).
