Andrew researches fire and fuels management decision making and effectiveness using social research methods and spatial analysis. His research is motivated and informed by his time on the fireline, where he developed a passion for the wildland fire community and an interest in how operational decisions and perspectives can be better understood and incorporated into research. In his free time he enjoys being active and exploring the wonderful state of California.
