Recent leaks have nearly confirmed the color choices for the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. The four colors revealed align with previous reports, giving us a clear idea of what Samsung plans to offer.

Four New Colors for the Galaxy S26 Ultra

A new leak has surfaced, showcasing the SIM card slots for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which has also disclosed the phone's color options. The four colors identified are:

• White

• Blue

• Purple

Building on earlier leaks, these colors have been officially named as:

• Black Shadow

• White Shadow

• Galactical Blue

• Ultraviolet

These names presumably do not include any exclusive online color options that Samsung may unveil.

While black, white, and blue are fairly typical for smartphones, the new Ultraviolet shade introduces a refreshing twist. Purple has recently made a comeback, having been noted on the iPhone 17 as Lavender last year.

For those seeking more vibrant or unusual color choices, it may be necessary to wait for Samsung’s online-exclusive offerings. The Galaxy S25 Ultra featured green and pink shades available only through Samsung’s website, and similar unique colors are anticipated for the upcoming flagship.

A Step Forward from Apple

I’m pleased to see that Samsung has opted not to follow Apple’s lead by omitting the black color option for its flagship device. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max do not offer black variants, which seems to be part of Apple’s strategy to encourage customers to consider the iPhone Air instead.

Of course, color selections are not the primary selling point for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The phone is expected to receive an upgrade to charging speeds and will introduce an innovative "privacy display" that conceals screen content from onlookers.
