A crowd-sourced compilation of tools, resources, and strategies utilized by Pre-College STEM Programs (PCSPs) participating in the STEM PUSH Network (a member of the National Science Foundation's Eddie Bernice Johnson INCLUDES National Network) Β
π What is the Resource Library? π
The STEM PUSH Resource Library is a crowd-sourced compendium of resources, strategies, and tools that have been used in pre-college STEM programs. Some of these resources have been implemented and tested by programs (see Improvement Testing), while others are recommended by members of STEM PUSH.
π§ What are the Change Summaries? π§
The STEM PUSH Change Summaries are a database of various changes that STEM PUSH pre-college STEM programs have implemented and tested in their program, with the goal of strengthening programs and increasing student visibility and value through college admissions. These records represent each program's Change Summary β a reflection of what was tested, what was learned, and whether that change will be adopted, adapted, or abandoned going forward.
There are links between Resources & Change Summaries when relevant.
π Resource Library
Any STEM PUSH pre-college STEM program can contribute resources to the Library at any time. Follow the guidelines below to identify ideal resources for sharing in this context:
What resources is the Network looking for?
Equity-focused ideas, tools, or resources
STEM assessment, program evaluation, or data collection tools
Student or partner organization communication platforms
Worksheets or activities that PCSP administrators have created to engage students
Websites or databases for scholarships, teaching tools, or student organizations
Any high-leverage tools or strategies that have been effective in broadening participation of Black, Latina/o/e, and/or Indigenous students in STEM college and career fields
Any resources that have not worked in PCSP programmingΒ
π§ Change Summary Database
The change summary database includes changes tested specifically in improvement cycles run through the STEM PUSH Network. At the end of a testing cycle, programs can now submit their Change Summary through the associated Form. To link your improvement testing to a Resource in the Library, be sure that the Resource is submitted first and then select this Resource when completing your Change Summary Form.
