Summer Positions
3 months, 450 hours
STEM Connect summer members coordinate club efforts to deliver Summer Brain Gain, a Boys & Girls Club national program designed to prevent summer learning loss through hands-on, project-based curriculum. In addition, these STEM Connect AmeriCorps members will host two family nights to encourage whole-family support and engagement of youth academics.

Terms run from June 2017 through August 2017.
During a 450 hour Term of Service, Boys & Girls Clubs AmeriCorps Members receive the following benefits:
- Up to $3,320 living allowance distributed bi-weekly over 3 months
- Professional Development and training
- Student Loan forbearance
- Child care allowance (for those who qualify)
- SNAP eligibility (nutrition assistance)
- $1,538.36 Segal AmeriCorps Education Award upon completion of Term of Service
