To be updated for summer of 2021
We are 12th grade high school students who have learned a lot about different subjects in the STEM field through different classes and courses that we have taken. This year (2020) is our second iteration of the camp.
Our goal is to give younger students a context and encourage them to engage creatively with the STEM field, rather than simply learn the material to pass their classes. Many people believe, especially us, that the future is headed toward STEM related fields and know that we wish that we had gotten more STEM exposure when we were younger, which is why we would like to provide that opportunity for younger kids. And we have introduced a new class this year, Beginner Java, for the express purpose of encouraging traditionally underrepresented kids in the STEM area to sign up.
After a big success with our camp in the summer of 2019 we have decided to bring it back in an online format this year for the summer of 2020!
