I pursue a research agenda to understand how human cognition and asset status affect economic and cooperative behavior. To infer behavioral patterns, the approach combines knowledge of experimental design, econometric skills, and outstanding naturally occurring administrative data on individual and corporate behavior. 

The research agenda uses natural experimental methodologies and interdisciplinary approaches involving scientific competencies and knowledge from economics, business research, medical research, and cognitive psychology. Understanding how people and cooperation respond to incentives opens the door to market and strategy design as an engineering science.
