Hi, I'm Steffen, a mathematician working at the intersection of probability theory and mathematical physics. My research interests include models of matter-field interaction and their associated path measures, as well as the spectral theory of random graphs.

I am currently a Postdoc at IST Austria in the group of Robert Seiringer. In March 2026, I defended my PhD at the University of Geneva under the supervision of Antti Knowles. Before coming to Geneva, I studied mathematics and physics at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where I worked with Volker Betz.
